How to edit an issue date on your credentials in bulk?

In this article, you will learn how to edit an issue date while preparing your credentials.

By default, Certifier uses [certifier.issued_on] attribute for automatically setting the issue date to the current one.

For example, if you issue certificates on November 21st, 2023, the attribute will be automatically updated like this:

Sometimes, you might need to prepare credentials in advance or after the event takes place. It's handy to have the option to set the date to the past or future. Whether you're adding recipients manually or using a spreadsheet, the process is straightforward.

Once the recipient list is uploaded, click on the Preview Before Publishing button at the top right corner:

On the left, you will see the Group & Recipients section:

To adjust the issue date, simply click on the edit icon next to the Issue date and set your preferred option. This change will be automatically reflected in the credential preview on the right.

This feature becomes particularly useful when you have to customize the issue date for an entire list of recipients in one go.

Congratulations! You have just learned how to set up the issue date for your credentials in bulk! 🤓
