Update Login Email
If you’ve switched your email account or just want to use a different address, you can easily update your login email. This ensures all important notifications and recovery options go to the right inbox.
To change the login email, you'll just need to:
Log in to your Certifier account.
Enter your new email address in the Email section.
Save the changes.
Confirm the change by clicking the link in the verification email we sent to your new address.
After this, you’ll need to use the new email for all future logins.
💡 Each email can only be linked to one Certifier account. If you want to change your login to an email that’s already in use, please follow this guide: How to Switch the Account Owner to a Team Member
Change Password
Changing your password from time to time is a simple way to keep your account in good shape. You can update it anytime directly from your account settings:
Log in to your Certifier account.
Scroll down to the Password section and click on Change Password.
Enter your Current Password to verify, then type in your New Password and confirm it.
Press on Update Password to save the changes.
Your new password will take effect immediately, and you’ll use it for your next login.
💡 Can't remember the old password? Press on the Forgot current password?, and you will receive a new password to your administrative email address:
Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
MFA adds a step to the login process, but it makes your account significantly more resilient to unauthorized access. Even if someone gains access to your password, they won’t be able to get in without the second factor.
To enable MFA:
Log in to your Certifier account.
Scroll down to the Multi-Factor Authentication section and click on Enable MFA.
You'll see a QR code (1) and secret key (2) - use either to add Certifier to your Authenticator App (Google Authenticator, Authy, or another compatible app).
Once you do that, generate a one-time access code and enter it in the dedicated field (3) to verify.
Press Continue to save the changes.
You’ll now be asked for a one-time code when logging in.
⚠️ Important: For security reasons, we don’t have access to your MFA setup — only you do. This ensures that your account stays fully protected, so be sure to keep your authenticator app safe.
