Guide to Statuses

You can easily learn whether they are delivered, viewed, or downloaded by your recipients. How to check this?

What are statuses?

Once you have issued a pack of certificates, you can go to the Credentials section and check the tab called Status - each status is an indicator of what happened with your credentials, as well as recipients' interactions with them.

You can find the Statuses on the right side of each Credential on the list:

Now we know where to find them, let's dive into what each status means.

Credential Status

Status

Explanation

Draft

The credential is a draft, and has not been issued yet.

Published

The credential was successfully issued, and it is valid.

Scheduled

The credential is scheduled to be issued on the selected date. To check the date, hover over the status icon.

Expired

The credential is expired. To renew it, enter the details and change the expiration date.


Email Status & Engagement

Explanation

Email is not sent

The delivery email is not sent. It applies to draft credentials, scheduled credentials, and published credentials you chose not to email.

Email is not provided

The delivery email is not sent due to a lack of email address.

Sending

The email will be sent shortly. If sent successfully, the status will change to "not opened".

Email is not opened

The email was successfully sent, but it was not yet opened by the recipient.

Email is bounced

The delivery email was bounced and could not be delivered.

Email is opened

The delivery email was successfully sent, and it was opened by the recipient.


Credential Engagement

Status

Explanation

Credential was not opened

The credential has not been opened by your recipient yet.

Credential was opened

The credential was opened by the recipient.

No engagement received

The recipient did not engage with the credential yet.

Engagement Received

The recipient has interacted with the credential (downloaded as PDF, shared on social media, copied link)

Added to LinkedIn profile

The credential was shared on LinkedIn and/or added to the LinkedIn profile.


Change Request

There's one more icon you may notice in the Status column - Change request. This means that the recipient has reached out to you.

To view the request, hover over the icon, and click on view to see the details:

Once you close the request, the icon will disappear.
