How to issue credentials from different sender emails

Read this article to find out how to set up and use multiple sender emails for your Certifier account.

Using multiple sender details allows for more targeted and effective organizational communication. For example, if you are issuing credentials for corporate training and have different groups representing your organization's departments, you might want to set up distinct email senders to ensure that each department's communication is recognizable. Such flexibility enables credential issuers to manage and differentiate among diverse groups where tailored communication can significantly enhance engagement, clarity, and account management.

Using multiple sender emails for one account requires setting up those emails and overriding them for a particular group:

  1. Navigate to the Emails -> Sender details.

  2. Click on "Create Sender Details" and proceed with filling in the form.

  3. Repeat the same step for all the Verified Emails that you would like to use to distribute your credentials via Certifier.

☝️ Keep in mind that one of your Verified Emails should become your account's default option. The Default status means that a particular Verified Email will be used to communicate with your recipients across all groups unless specified otherwise for some individual group:

In most of the cases, you will be using a single sender email for your entire account. Thus, having a default option makes it easy to manage the account since you don't have to attach a your default email each time when you create a group. However, this is exactly a step that you will have to do if you need to issue the credentials for a particular group using the verified email that is other than your account's default one.

Let's now override your account's default Verified Email for a particular group:

  4. Navigate to the group for which you want to change the sender details.

  5. Open the group's Email settings.

  6. Disable the "Use Default Sender Details" toggle.

  7. From the drop-down menu, select your preferred Sender Details and hit "Save".

Now the credentials issued for this particular group will be sent from the Verified Email that is other than your account's default one.

Here you have it! Now you know how to set up multiple sender details and override your account's default Verified Email for a particular group.
