How to issue credentials without emailing them to recipient?

If you wonder how to issue certificates with Certifier without sending them directly to the recipient, follow the steps from this guide:

When is distributing credentials without emailing them out useful?

Issuing Paper Certificates for Official Ceremonies

When hosting an official ceremony, provide paper certificates first. After the ceremony, email the digital credentials to the recipients. This approach ensures your recipients benefit from both physical and digital tokens of appreciation.

Consolidated Distribution

When credentials need to be sent to a single responsible person, such as a team leader or manager, avoid cluttering their inbox with multiple emails. Instead, send a CSV file containing links to the credentials and an archive with all PDFs.

Retrospective Issuance

During the transition to Certifier, issue old credentials retrospectively and store them in Certifier. This method allows you to manage old credentials without the need to notify past recipients individually.

Steps

- Set up credential design, email template, and Group following Certifier standard flow

- Click on the Issue Credentials button in the Group section

- Upload the list of recipients and map the attributes

- Click on the Preview Before Issuing button

- Preview your credentials and click on Issue credentials once all the details are correct

- Set "Would you like to email your credentials to the recipients?" to No and click Issue Immediately

- Credentials are now activated and present in your Credentials list

You can export them in CSV or PDF format by selecting them on the right side and clicking the Export button

If you need to email them later, just select the required credentials and click on Resend Email. Your recipients will get their digital copies right away.

Well done! 😉 Now you know how to distribute credentials without emailing them to recipients. If you still have questions, please contact us via chat or at support@certifier.io
