Connect Certifier to ChatGPT (Organizational Accounts)
Follow these steps to connect Certifier MCP to your organizationâs ChatGPT account and enable your team to issue and manage credentials using simple prompts.
Step 1: Open Workspace Settings
In ChatGPT, go to your organization workspace (left sidebar).
Click Workspace settings.
Step 2: Create a new app
In the left-hand menu, select Apps (this is where you manage integrations available to your workspace).
Click + Create in the top-right corner.
Step 3: Enable developer mode
If prompted, enable developer mode by clicking Enable developer mode.
Step 4: Configure the Certifier app
Fill in the app details including MCP Server URL:
https://api.certifier.io/v1/mcp
Leave authentication as OAuth (default)
Check the confirmation box
Click Create
Step 5: Publish the app to your workspace
Go to the Drafts tab
Find the Certifier app and click Publish
Step 6: Confirm publishing
Review the security notes in the confirmation modal:
Check:
I trust this app
I have reviewed the parameters being sent to each actionâŚ
Click Publish
Step 7: Share the app with your team
Open the app details
Click Show in directory
â ď¸ Important note: apps created this way are not visible in the public marketplace. To give your team access, click âShow in directoryâ and share the link. After opening it, members can access the Certifier app in ChatGPT, but will still need to connect the Certifier app on their side to start using it.
Connect Certifier to Claude (Organizational Accounts)
Follow these steps to connect Certifier MCP to your organizationâs Claude account and enable your team to issue and manage credentials using simple prompts.
Step 1: Open Organization Settings
In Claude, click your workspace name in the bottom-left corner.
Select Organization settings.
Step 2: Add a new connector
In the left-hand menu, scroll to Connectors (this is where you manage integrations available to your organization).
Click Add in the top-right corner.
Select Custom â Web.
Step 3: Configure the Certifier connector
Fill in the app details including MCP Server URL:
https://api.certifier.io/v1/mcp
Then click Add
Note: Once added, the connector becomes available to members of your organization automatically. Team members will still need to connect the Certifier app on their side to start using it.
