Getting Started with Google Sheets' New Row Added Trigger
In this guide, you’ll learn how to configure the New Row Added trigger for the Google Sheets app. This trigger lets you automate credential issuance through Certifier Automations based on Google Sheets data. Let's get started!

Configure the New Row Added Trigger
Select or connect your Google Account via OAuth: Click on the field below Account, and select or connect a new account using + Connect New Account. This connection only permits Certifier to access files you select in the next steps.
When connecting, complete login via secure OAuth – click on Continue and Allow.
⚠️ Important: If you see this option when connecting your Google Account, make sure to tick the box for Google Drive access before pressing Continue.

Return to your Original Guide
Once you’ve finished the configuration, it’s critical to return to your original integration guide.
⚠️ Important: Each app has rules and limitations that apply after activation.
Every app (Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, HubSpot, Airtable, etc.) has critical rules that apply after activation. These rules are explained at the end of your original integration guide. Be sure to return there before activating to make sure your automation works as expected.
