Why use multiple sender emails?
Using multiple sender details allows for more targeted and effective organizational communication. For example, if you are issuing credentials for corporate training and have different groups representing your organization's departments, you might want to set up distinct email senders to ensure that each department's communication is recognizable.
This flexibility enables credential issuers to:
Manage diverse groups from one Certifier account.
Customize the sender identity for each group.
Boost engagement and clarity with tailored messages.
How to set up multiple sender emails
Using multiple sender emails for one account requires setting up those emails and overriding them for a particular group:
Navigate to the Emails β Sender details.
Click on "Create Sender Details" and proceed with filling in the form.
Repeat the same step for all the Verified Emails that you would like to use to distribute your credentials via Certifier.
βοΈ Keep in mind that one of your Verified Emails should become your account's default option.
About the Default Sender Email
The Default status means that a particular Verified Email will be used to communicate with your recipients across all groups unless specified otherwise for some individual group.
In most of the cases, you will be using a single sender email for your entire account. Thus, having a default option makes it easy to manage the account since you don't have to attach a your default email each time when you create a group.
However, if you want to use a different sender for a particular group, you'll need to override this default.
How to override the default sender for a specific group
Navigate to the group for which you want to change the sender details.
Open the group's Email settings.
Disable the "Use Default Sender Details" toggle.
From the drop-down menu, select your preferred Sender Details and hit "Save".
Now the credentials issued for this particular group will be sent from the Verified Email that is other than your account's default one.
Conclusion
You now know how to:
Set up multiple sender emails in Certifier.
Manage default sender behavior.
Override it for specific groups.
Use this setup to personalize your communications, improve branding, and make your credential delivery more efficient!
