How to Use Custom Email Addresses to Send Credentials

Send credentials using one or multiple company or personal sender addresses to maintain a professional and branded experience for recipients.

💡 By default, Certifier sends all certificates from the [email protected] email.

However, if you're on a Professional plan or higher, you can replace this address with any verified email you wish.

How to add a custom sender email

To add your company or personal email address to Certifier, you'll just need to:

  1. Go to the Emails → Sender details.

  2. Click on +Create Sender Details.

  3. Enter a desired address and sender name (you can add CC and BCC as well) and click on Create Sender Details.

  4. Verify this email by clicking on the verification link you received from Certifier.

How to issue credentials from multiple sender emails

👑 This option is available to our Advanced plan users.

Using multiple sender details allows for more targeted and effective organizational communication. For example, if you are issuing credentials for corporate training and have different groups representing your organization's departments, you might want to set up distinct email senders to ensure that each department's communication is recognizable.

This requires setting up those emails and overriding them for a particular group.

To add the emails:

  1. Navigate to the Emails → Sender details.

  2. Click on +Create Sender Details and proceed with filling in the form.

  3. Repeat the same step for all the Emails that you would like to use to distribute your credentials via Certifier.

⚠️ Keep in mind that one of your Verified Emails should become your account's default option.

How to override the default sender for a specific group

  1. Navigate to the group for which you want to change the sender details.

  2. Open the group's Email settings.

  3. Disable the "Use Default Sender Details" toggle.

  4. From the drop-down menu, select your preferred Sender Details and hit "Save".

Now the credentials issued for this particular group will be sent from the Verified Email that is other than your account's default one.
